    Enhance Your Remote QC Workflow with VIRTUOSO

    What is it for

    With the introduction of ADM/WAV player in Virtuoso and Virtuoso Lite, professional engineers now have a powerful tool for remote quality control (QC). As more QC workflows move to remote environments, clients often lack access to full Dolby Atmos speaker systems or compatible software to play multichannel WAV or ADM files. They usually rely on a binaurally rendered mix for QC. However, this often leads to misinterpretation of mix decisions, as the binaural render may not accurately replicate the loudspeaker listening experience, either spatially or tonally.

    APL Virtuoso has been praised by many top sound engineers for its ability to accurately and realistically replicate a loudspeaker listening experience over headphones, whether in stereo or Dolby Atmos. We would like to facilitate a more effective and efficient remote QC workflow for professional engineers and their clients through the Virtuoso Partnership Programme. By enabling clients to experience immersive mixes more accurately through Virtuoso Lite, partners can ensure their work is faithfully represented.

    Who is it for

    This programme is designed to serve professional sound engineers who remotely work with clients. To be eligible, you must have:
    • Publicly available credits for your professional work (e.g. muso.ai, IMDb, etc).
    • Clients in the professional music, film or gaming industry (e.g. artists, producers, record labels, etc).

    How does it work

    • Eligible professional engineers and producers working with clients can apply for the programme by entering their details and proof in the form below.
    • Approved partners receive up to 5 free licenses of the Virtuoso Lite Standalone app with the purchase of a full Virtuoso version: 5 licenses for Virtuoso Bundle, or 2 licenses for Virtuoso Plugins or Standalone. They will receive a 20% discount voucher for the full version purchase (excluding sale periods).  Try Virtuoso for 14 days first and experience what Virtuoso can offer.
    • Partners can share the licenses with their clients. They can then play the original ADM or stereo/multichannel WAV master on the Virtuoso Lite app. This will enable them to virtual check how the original mix sounds over loudspeakers in a professional studio, or in different environments like dubbing stage, home cinema, living room, etc. Virtuoso Lite Standalone also allows them to play the ADM over different loudspeaker setups for checking mix translation.

    In return, we will request partners to:

    • Endorse Virtuoso and provide a brief quote.
    • Participate in developing a use case story.
    • Beta test future Virtuoso updates.
    • Help spread the word about Virtuoso.
